Our Programs

Z-Culture is a virtual experiential learning project working in the field of national collaboration. Uses a crowd-sourcing approach to connect students with national culture and teams. As for fall 2020, Z-Culture has a great alumni network.

AIMS

TO HELP THE YOUTH BY PROVIDING THEM A BETTER OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP THEIR CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING.

AIMS OF THE PROJECT:

  • Improve knowledge and understanding of cultural difference, particularly the role of students’ own cultural influences and assumptions.
  • Develop national perspectives and become Indian citizens by developing insights into national trends, issues, and responsibilities.
  • Develop strategies for accommodating cultural differences to achieve mutually agreeable outcomes.

STRUCTURE

Z-Culture Project has a semester as the learning period, just like in an academic field. The Semester divides into four quarter tracks A,B,C,D (eg. 2020-A : January to March, 2020-B : April to June, 2020-C : July to September, 2020-D : October to December) to be in line with academic schedules and to make it more convenient for college to take part.

The semester consists of:

  • Pre-project training
  • Practical training
  • Post-Project Reflections

PROJECT FLOW

Certificates are as follows:-

The project starts with the theoretical part. After reviewing all the materials students have to complete the Readiness Test. Only students who successfully pass the Readiness Test will be allowed to participate in the project.

In the practical stage, trainees are placed on national virtual teams. Students work in a team for over 6 days. During this time, they have to meet Daily deadlines. Students will receive a personalized link on our website for an online progress report form.

Although most of the coordination, communication, and performance monitoring is managed by Z-Culture, instructors regularly communicate with their students and guide an important part of the learning process. Instructors normally devote their time to discuss student progress, address concerns, and answer to their questions.

At the end of the project, teams submit their proposals. Students also complete an online post-project survey that includes peer evaluations.

At the end of the project, the teams present their solutions in a form of team reports. The reports will be evaluated by 6-7 independent experts. Based on the expert evaluations, the best teams will be awarded by Z-Culture as “Best Team Award” and an opportunity for the collaboration at international level.

Additionally, individual performances are being recorded for peer evaluations and are used to select the season’s Best Student Award recipients.
